STEPPING INTO THE INTERNATIONAL ARENA
Well, I decided to take a step further out of my comfort zone and submitted entries for the first time to an international photography competition, the 1839 Awards Photographer of the Year.
Happily, and to be honest, quite unexpectedly given the quality and sheer numbers of entries in this global competition, the jury nominated two of my images to proceed to final judging.
Simply getting that far was an absolute blast, and has boosted my confidence immensely. Check out some of the fantastic entries at the 1839 Awards. Roll on next year!
